The Akron Zoo set a new single-day attendance record during Boo at the Zoo – twice. On Saturday, Oct. 21, attendance numbers were 8,196 and on Sunday, Oct. 22, the zoo saw 7,728 guests. The previous record, also set during Boo at the Zoo on Oct. 23, 2016, was 7,550 guests. 

Records were set for the number of trick-or-treater as well, with 3,162 and 2,854 treaters on Oct. 21 and 22 respectively.

The zoo also saw their second-highest attended Boo at the Zoo with 27,773 visitors attending over a six-day period. The highest attended year was in 2016 with 29,938 guests for Boo at the Zoo.
