Directions to the Akron Zoo

*Note Edgewood Ave is now closed from Euclid Avenue to Vernon Odom Boulevard. If you follow the directions below you will not be affected by this closure.

From: Massillon, New Philadelphia, Dover, Green and Canton

• Take 77 North.  
• Exit at Dart Avenue.
• Veer to the right at the bottom of the exit.
• Stay on Dart Avenue, which will curve left soon after the exit.
• Around the bend, you will drive parallel with Route 59.
• Turn left on Euclid Avenue.
• You will drive through 2 stop signs and the main entrance will be on the right side. 

From Cleveland, Richfield, Medina, Fairlawn and Strongsville

• Take 77 South to Route 59 East, 21C Exit.
• Take Route 59 East, and exit at V Odom / Opportunity Parkway (OH 261).
• Turn right on Wooster.
• At the first light, turn right on Dart Avenue.
• Turn left on Euclid Avenue.
• You will drive through 2 stop signs and the main entrance will be on the right side.

From Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Hudson and Ravenna

• Take Route 8 to 76 West/77 North.
• Exit at Dart Avenue.
• Veer to the right at the bottom of the exit.
• Stay on Dart Avenue, which will curve left soon after the exit.
• Around the bend, you will drive parallel with Route 59.
• Turn left on Euclid Avenue.
• You will drive through 2 stop signs and the main entrance will be on the right side.

From Pittsburgh and Youngstown

• Take 76 West/77 North.
• Exit at Dart Avenue.
• Veer to the right at the bottom of the exit.
• Stay on Dart Avenue, which will curve left soon after the exit.
• Around the bend, you will drive parallel with Route 59.
• Turn left on Euclid Avenue.
• You will drive through 2 stop signs and the main entrance will be on the right side.

From The University of Akron

• Go west on Exchange Street.
• Turn left on Route 59 West.
• Turn right on Euclid Avenue.
• The main entrance will be on the right side.
