The Akron Zoo offers many amenities for our guests. If you have a special need, please stop by our guest services desk on your way to the ticket counter in our Barnhardt Family Welcome Center. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Rentals
The zoo’s rental station is located outside the Barnhardt Family Welcome Center. We require a valid driver’s license for rental.
- Stroller: $5
- Covered Stroller: $7
- Electric scooters: $25
- Wheelchair: free
All rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Extra Fun
- Train rides: $2 (Closed December - February)
- Farmland Animal Feed: $1
- Penguin Feed: $3 (November - March)
Park Rules
- Please obey “No feeding” signs
- Remain on the main paths at all times
- Please throw trash away in appropriate containers
- No scooters, skateboards or roller blades on grounds
- Have fun!
